Well what a great year 2011 was and did it go by fast.  We have had many adventures with our aquariums lots of ups and downs.  I believe this year is looking good for saltwater fish and especially corals.  This year we will see many new companies introducing LED technology and proposing their product to be the best. At Sea Creatures we have tested a few ourselves.  If your interested in converting your tank to LED's stop by Sea Creatures and we can talk lights!!!!

Holiday Cheer!

With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner you know there will be sales.  Sea Creatures will have all live stock on sale Tuesday November 22nd, Wednesday 23rd and Saturday 26th.  We will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.

Winterize your Aquarium

Heaters are great tools to help maintain adequate aquarium temperatures, but heaters can get old and their themostat can be off.  Take reliable temperature readings with a thermometer, and replace your heater yearly for best results.  Optimum temperatures are between 72 to 82 degrees fahrenheit, but make sure it is stable and not changing more than 2 degrees daily.
